The Carlyle Hotel, a true icon of Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is synonymous with timeless elegance and artistic legacy. Known for its legendary spaces like Bemelmans Bar and Café Carlyle, where luminaries such as Bobby Short and Eartha Kitt have performed, it continues to celebrate creativity and excellence. I am deeply honoured to have two of my works—pieces created directly in my sketchbook during my travels through Mexico—featured in this distinguished collection, joining the hotel’s storied tradition of artistry and sophistication.
